Tekka Bar: Handroll and Sake

We were very lucky to squeeze in Tekka Bar as a group of 5 with no reservation during peak dining time of the EDC weekend. They serve a variety of seafood on rice, wrapped in either traditional seaweed or soy-sesame paper.

Food

We tried every item on the menu. The otoro was not as fatty or fresh as we expected, but everything else was amazing. Unfortunately they did not have Alaskan crab 😭. Prices ranged from $6 to $20 USD each.
The only sashimi on the menu was this yellowtail serrano for $12USD. It was three thick pieces of fresh mildly-fish protein drenched in a thick, sweet chilli sauce. It was good, but when we compared currency, it hurt our wallets to eat it 😭.

Service

The service was fast, making this a great spot for a quick feed. The most impressive thing here were the sushi making machines they had churning in the background – time to invest in one 😆.

Review

We really like this spot and would definitely return if we visit Vegas again.

Happy eating!
