Another adventure for the books where we risked our lives for good food 🙃. This food truck, Mariscos Jalisco was located on the outskirts of Skid Row and won multiple awards for their fish tacos.
We had no issues getting there BUT the return ride was wavering. No uber wanted to pick us up because of our location and it took 20 mins of fearful waiting before our stars aligned and we got a driver.

We did not shit our pants from the seafood but we’re certain the salsa burned our stomach linings. WORTH IT. Surprisingly, this was fresh seafood with plump oysters, soft octopus and tender sweet prawns. The salsa heat and lime squeeze helped to combat the potential samonella.

The bad boy we travelled for: this was a punch of fish, herbs, onions, tomatoes and sliced avocados on a crispy tortilla bed. It was a very succulent bite, contrasted nicely by the crunch of the taco. The flavours were sharp and on point. An extra slice of avocado would have made this absolutely p e r f e c t.
