Hansang Strathfield

All the 반찬 banchan served here!
We’ve finally found a good spot that does flavourful 순대 한접시 (sundae), known as Korean blood sausage. This was on the milder side with more filling, so if you’re after a taste of this unique dish, try it here.

Otherwise Late Night Table (read HERE) does a fantastic flavourful version but that particular dish pairs better with more alcohol.
We tried 돼지순두부 (spicy pork tofu soup) instead of our usual kimchi-seafood-tofu combination and the savouriness of the pork added a nice depth of flavour. Considering the large cooking pots here, any of the soups would have been a good choice.
We finally found a place that does galbi but it’s not the best version. The beef was a little chewy, and did not fall off the bone. And the radish were mush with no flavour.

Our old spot stopped serving this and for the last 4 years, we’ve been making our own. Hansang’s version is a shadow of ours 😛.

Review

We loved this spot and can’t wait to come back and try the other soups. The only downside is they close at 8:30 pm.

Thanks for reading. Happy eating!
