Ipoh Parade is an authentic Malaysian Restaurant in Armadale, Melbourne. We were craving bak kut teh and are happy to report we’ve finally found a spot in our new city.
Food
Mick ordered a seafood curry laksa for $24.90. It was Hokkien noodles and vermicelli with fresh king prawn, calamari, fish, mussel and fried tofu, garnished with shallots and spring onion. It was a very flavourful bowl, with a hearty broth and a good amount of proteins.
The bak kuh teh was $28 and incredibly flavourful, but still a light broth. The pork was tender, and again, plenty of pieces to ngaw on.
Review
The service is fast, casual and not in-your-face, like any Chinese restaurant. We will be back.
