Paris Pass: Bus Tour

We purchased the 2-day Paris Pass for our visit and to make our money’s worth, we skulled a bottle of red wine and hopped on the bus for a fun 45 mins. Here are some quick (and drunken) shots from today’s eventful ride.
We chose to sit on the top of the bus to get a 360 view of Paris. It was very windy and cold that day and my crappy $10 jacket was definitely not keeping me warm. Good thing we finished the bottle of red, right? 😉
“Get out of my shot, babe!” 🤣
After our ride, the alcohol was wearing off and we started to feel the cold.

Desperate for warmth and food, we ducked into a high Google-rating Japanese restaurant. I’m talking at least 8,000 good reviews. Unfortunately, it was a very mediocre meal, from bland pork broth in our ramen to soggy, flat dumplings. I deleted all the photos immediately after our meal.

We realised Asian cuisine in Europe was not good (compared to Asia and Oceania) and that we should check the writers of the reviews because a lot of times, the “good” reviews are from Americans-with-no-culture-who-love-eating-blocks-of-cheese and consider that a meal.

When we went back to check the reviews for this restaurant, we realised a lot of the ethnic groups had left negative reviews about the service because, let’s be real, French people are racist. So moral of the story, read the good and bad reviews. It saves you the trouble of having a disappointing meal.

Thanks for reading 😊
