Big Bone Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant in Glen Waverley, Melbourne. It definitely caters to the Chinese community more so if you want a more authentic Vietnamese taste, go to Springvale.
Food
The combination pho was very average for $30. The broth was decent, but a tad bland. The only gave 2-3 cuts of each meat, and the cuts were all weirdly shape. This was definitely not worth the money.
The chicken pho had free-range chicken. It was decent. The broth is a little lacking, and the added chillis added a Chinese taste.
They just opened when we dined so we want to say the service was bad because of a grand opening, however we got to speak to the owner who apparently runs the same restaurant in Springvale and the CBD, so the lack of skills cannot be blamed purely on a store opening, as there is experience backing this restaurant.
Review
This was very average and overprice. Again, catering to the Chinese community so we will not return.
