This is a cafe that has withstood the test of time in Melbourne. Located in North Melbourne, it sits in an industrial building with outdoor seating, catered for dog-owners. It was freezing the day we visited but because we had our pup, we had to endure the cold. They didn’t have heaters but did offer thick blankets.

This was the seafood linguine $31, a blue swimmer crab, prawn, chilli, garlic, butter, cherry tomato, zucchini, wild rocket in crab stock. It was really flavourful, packed with umami and fresh tartness from the tomatoes.

This monstrosity was the Korean fried chicken burger, a sweet and spicy korean glazed chicken, fresh slaw, kimchi and smashed avocado on a beetroot bun. It was really hard to eat but man, if I could get all the ingredients in one single bite, it was amazing – just very messy.

Our friend got the baked eggs for $28: slow cooked in red pepper, red onion & tomato sauce, roasted kipfler spiced potatoes, zucchini, scamorza cheese, hazelnut & pistachio dukkah with grilled pumpkin bread.

Our friend got the beer braised pork benedit for $28: Slow cooked pork shoulder, potato rosti, red cabbage, apple sauce, radish & apple salad, poached eggs & tarragon hollandaise.
Review
It was a nice spot with plenty of seats for walk-in, and parking available.
