This is the New Zealand style fresh cream & jam donut. It is their most popular doughnut and it was almost sold out when we purchased it. The other flavours were apple custard, vanilla custard, golden gaytime, a chocolate one and an original.
The flavours of the doughnuts were quite spot-on, with a fresh and sweet filling. The doughnuts were fluffy and light and irresistibly delicious. We could not stop devouring them.
They were much softer than Krispy Kremes and in our opinion, not as sweet, thereby, much better than Krispy Kremes. If you love doughnuts, like we do, then you would have heard of the amazing reviews about Daniel’s Donuts and know this place is a must-try 😝.
