Pho Kim Long is a decade old, family run Vietnamese restaurant in St Albans, Melbourne. We popped in at 2pm on a weekday to a packed out space. The flavour was good, closer to our favourite Sydney spot Pho An (Bankstown) than Huu Huu Thanh.
The only downside is they don’t give enough meat pieces and the broth is a little diluted down with water, to give the impression of a big bowl. The service was a little atrocious when we arrived: a bunch of ding-a-lings, clueless young 20s who need more training. Once the Boss Aunty got off her lunch break, efficiency and order was restored.
