Yamachan is an izakaya franchise with over 100 locations in Japan and worldwide. They serve ‘drinking’-style food such as chips, edamame, hot pot and of course, hot and fierce chicken wings that are like crack and better than KFC.
We always eat at Shinjuku Yasukuni-dori when we go back to Japan, using our JR Pass HERE. This store is located on B2 and to get there, visitors have to use a small and creepy elevator. The first time we visited we were tripped out by it and thought we had gotten lost 😂 Dayummm Japan and their hidden basement levels.

THESE CHIPS WERE DELICIOUS AF!! The consommé option was sweet, savoury and seriously addicting that we ordered 4 servings 😍 We took our mate, Aaron, and it was so good he went back a week later with his Japanese friends who loved the wings too.
