Kyoto Kitcho Arashiyama is located right by the river in Kyoto, hidden in plain sight. It serves traditional kaiseki food and has been awarded three Michelin stars. It was such an amazing dining experience, with our own private dinner, chef and geiko. The only downside was it costing $1200 per person so you bet your ass I was licking every surface to get my money’s worth HAHA.
THIS WAS PEAK TUNA FOR US. It was a triple stacked cut of bluefin tuna, specifically between the chuutoro and otoro section, on a fluffy bed of vinegar rice. To describe it was flavourful and tender is an understatement. No piece will ever beat this.
