Vatican City 2019

The Vatican City is the smallest independent state in the world, standing at 0.49 km squared (approx 100 acres). It is an independent city-state from Italy and is where the Pope resides. We entered the Vatican with our Roma Pass today and here are some snapshots.

We had just finished viewing the Vatican museums (LINK).
We used our Roma Pass to skip the queue and climb to the top of St Peter’s Basilica (LINK). Our very-religious friend told us to go see the Pope as if we could just drop in and say hi to the most important man in the world 😂 #LoveYouNat
This was the entrance to the city/country and we loved looking back at the silhouette.

Thanks for reading. Ciao 🤗
