Textbook Patisserie

Textbook Patisserie is a wide-open space cafe in Alexandria, Sydney, selling unique flavours in their freshly made croissants 🥐. We visited in 2018 during the boba tea faze when Textbook Patisserie created a taro boba tea inspired croissant.
This taro croissant was soooo satisfying to eat 🤤. The filling was creamy and light with a mild taro flavour. There were some hidden boba balls, adding a chewy texture to the bite. The croissant pastry was flakey but not crispy enough to our liking. Overall, it was a very delicious treat.
There was a truffle craze this year and Textbook Patisserie infused black truffle into this beautiful croissant. The inside custard filling was creamy with a mild aroma of pungent truffle 🤤. There was a thin layer of truffle circulating the filling. We got this at 10 PM at night so the pastry was a little soft and not as crispy. I really liked it and rated it a 9.5/10 on our Instagram.

review

We love this cafe for their bold take on flavours. There was a durian flavoured croissant recently but we were unable to get our hands on it 🥺. Highly recommend these croissants.

Thanks for reading 🥐. Happy eating!
