Meriton Suite Adelaide Street

Booked a week prior to the trip, we picked Meriton Suite for its affordability and seemingly clean photos. It was $110 for three nights.

Disclosure: We want to share our hotel experiences with details and honesty since there is a lot of sponsored/fake content out there. Also, we might re-book a place and this helps us remember where we stayed ๐Ÿ˜‚. Our photos were taken on our Sony RX100V and we did not use a wide-angle lens.

Location

The location was two blocks from the main shopping district of Brisbane. We were able to walk 10 minutes to most of the major tourist spots. The only downside would be the drop off area, as there were a few times the ubers pulled up on the busy intersection for us to get in/out because they didn’t know about the hotel’s driveway.

Room

Bed: It was a decent king sized bed. The mattress was firm but not that comfy for back sleepers. The pillows were too soft so there was no support.

Cleanliness: They didn’t have a cleaning service as this place was treated as an apartment and not a hotel. The kettle did not have any rust inside so there is some cleaning done in between bookings. However, the cleaning service was not the best as their were some stains in the toilet ๐Ÿ˜ฌ.

Space: It was spacious as it’s supposed to be a 1 bedroom apartment.

Noise: We could hear the club scene next door, even with the windows shut.

Air-conditioning: It worked. There was the faintest mould smell though.

Technology: Wi-Fi worked but it was slow and kept disconnecting.

โ€‹Bathroom: Mediocre. It was kind of gross to shower there… We do not recommend a long stay.

Extras: Nothing extra.

Review

It was an average accomodation. We will not stay again. Thanks for reading.
