Iām a sucker for good food and I will drive an hour one way just to get my hands on it. Eat St depot is no exception. When our friend T introduced us to these delicious doughnuts, we were overjoyed with sugary, cinnamon sprinkles š¤¤.

Set in a rustic warehouse on the outskirts of Marrickville, Eat St. Depot have created an awesome space where dogs and plants are always welcome. Despite the large area, they’ve dampened the sound well, resulting in a softened and chilled environemnt. It was very comforting sitting there during the recent thunderstorms.
These doughnuts are heavenly š. They’re freshly made with the perfect amount of cinnamon to sugar ratio. They have a crispy exterior crunch with a soft and pillowy interior. Delicious AF!
Once an order is placed, a handful of dough is plucked from their resting position and rolled into evenly long sausages. Next, they are delicately attached to their own end and placed on a tray, where they are submerged in hot, vegetable oil. After a few minutes of sizzling, and once golden brown, they are placed on a metal tray for a quick dry before being rolled in this beautiful tray of cinnamon sugar.
I wanted to describe the process because watching the staff cook these was mesmerizing š¤£.

We highly recommend Eat St. Depot if you’re in the area. Don’t worry, these doughnuts still taste amazing a few hours later too, especially when reheated with an air fryer šš» .
