Augie’s Place

Augie’s Place is a small cafe in Brunswick, run by corgi owners. We came across this spot from the Corgi Facebook page and thought it was appropriate to celebrate Pocky’s birthday here. Our boy is 4 😭.

Food

This was the mumma V’s chicken pie with relish and chilli jam for $12. It was honestly very average. The filling was a bit bland. The pastry was decent and crispy.
This was an eggs benedict on white sourdough. It was 2 poached eggs with hollandaise and fresh herbs for $19. The bacon was an extra $5. It was good but average.
The espresso martini was very average, not mixed well. But it will do.
We didn’t come here for human food. The dog food was a hit. This was mutt-cha for $6. And some treats. Pocky loved it.

Service

The staff were a bit slow in making the food, but greetings and conversations were great. They were friendly and made you felt special.

Review

We liked how corgi focused the cafe was but debatable if we will return.

Thanks for reading. Happy eating.
