Little Cardigan in Brunswick baked specialty shokupan and pastries using locally-sourced ingredients and operated on a relaxed café schedule.
Its airy warehouse-style space also housed Bench Coffee, making it a cozy spot for brunch, work, or a slow coffee break.
Food
This simple breakfast is the shokupan toast with cultured butter for $7.50. It was perfect.
This was their morning kaya set for $13.50. It is exactly like the previous dish, but with homemade kaya and an onsen egg. The kaya was sweet and reminiscent of our childhood, so a wonderful addition to the dish.
Review
The food menu is small. The coffee is good. We would come back for the shokupan for our cooking experiments.
