Hyatt Regency Perth

This was one of the nicest and generous hotels we’ve ever stayed at in Australia. This was surprising because the Hyatt Regency is one of the lower tiers of the Hyatt family, aimed at Business and Leisure travellers, and we stayed at Park Hyatt Melbourne twice before (LINK) (most luxurious sector). Yes, the Park Hyatt has gold columns, a grand piano and aromatic perfumes in the hallway but all that glam can come off snobby to those who just want a clean and comfortable hotel during their travels, which Hyatt Regency Perth did.

Also there was unlimited desserts, mocktails and juice in the lobby. We are suckers for free food.

Location

The hotel was a little out of the way. It is located South East of Perth CBD so we had to walk about 15 minutes before getting to the city centre (or 3 minute Uber).

Access

We were on the 7th floor and it was a bit of a pain-in-the-ass being on the opposite side of the elevator. We had to do a full loop around every time.

Room

Bed: It was a comfortable moderately firm queen bed. No stains on the sheets.

Cleanliness: Everything was spotless. Even the bathroom.

Space: We had so much space. It’s probably because it’s Perth but dammmm, the space was so nice for such a low price.

Noise: We couldn’t hear a thing.

Air-conditioning: Amazing. Strong. Silent throughout the night.
Technology: We didn’t really use anything other than the wifi, which was fast.

Bathroom: This was moderately lit, with a yellow based colour. It was very clean.

Extras: The wine bar in the lobby was great.

Amenities: We used the gym but there was only 7 machines and dumbbells. It was also very tiny once 5+ people went to work out.

Review

Yes, we would stay here again. Thanks for reading.
