I flew in from Ho Chi Minh City yesterday and stayed at Hakata Sunlight Hotel Hinoohgi last night so I could explore Fukuoka city. It was $82 AUD for the one night.
Disclosure: We want to share our hotel experiences with details and honesty since there is a lot of sponsored/fake content out there. Also, we might re-book a place and this helps us remember where we stayed 😂. Our photos were taken on our Sony RX100V and we did not use a wide-angle lens.

Location
The hotel is located a 10-min walk to the nearest bus stop that goes to Fukuoka station. It was convenient for exploring but not convenient for dragging along a large suitcase, as Japan has a lot of uneven pavements.
Room
Bed: Big, comfy and clean.
Cleanliness: Everything was very neat
Space: Did not expect this much space for me. I couldn’t keep my luggage open but there was room for me to freely pack my stuff. The bathroom was a little small but that was to be expected with Japanese hotels.

Noise: Minimal. I slept like a baby.
Air-conditioning: I did not use this feature
Technology: I had to charge my phone near the TV so it made it inconvenient to go on my phone prior to bed. Wifi was fast.

Bathroom: Lighting was dim, very cramped but efficient.
Extras: The extra amenities was cutely packaged.
Amenities: They have a little breakfast spot downstairs with free coffee so not a bad start to the morning.
