Baked is a cafe franchise in Bali, Indonesia offering a warm, bohemian atmosphere filled with freshly baked pastries and artisanal coffee. We dined at the Berawa location.
Food
This was their signature original best scramble for 85,000 rupiah (~AUD$7.70). It was scrambled eggs, brown butter, lumpfish caviar, crème fraîche and chives on their signature sourdough.
The scrambled eggs were delicious, infused in brown butter, but the texture was too runny. It was not enjoyable halfway through the bite as the bread was unable to hold the eggs. The sourdough was soft, not too crunchy that it hurt the upper palate.

We share the benny for 90,000 rupiah (~AUD$8.20). It was bacon, wilted kale, poached eggs, gochujang hollandaise on sourdough. It was enjoyable but the bacon was too crispy for our liking.
Drinks
The left drink was the Pims for 55,000 rupiah. It was a 24-hour cold brew with brown sugar, cream, and fresh nutmeg. Delicious af.
Review
This was a nice cafe with a fast turnover of patrons, resulting in fresh pastries and breads daily. If we return to Bali, we would come back here but only once during the trip. We prefer Indonesian food over western food.
