Scandic Victoria Oslo

After visiting Tromso, we spent a night in Oslo to catch up with Mick’s cousin. We stayed at Scandic Victoria Oslo.

Disclosure: We want to share our hotel experiences with details and honesty since there is a lot of sponsored/fake content out there. Also, we might re-book a place and this helps us remember where we stayed 😂. Our photos were taken on our Sony RX100V and we did not use a wide-angle lens.

Location

The hotel was located in the centre of the city. We could easily walk around to the shopping district and towards the Nobel Peace Centre.

Room

Bed: Firm. As you can see, they put a thin, soft mattress over the hard bed. It was okay for one night of sleep but if we had stayed longer, our backs would have hurt.

Cleanliness: It was a very clean room.

Space: There was not much space. We had to take turns to move furniture around to open one of our large suitcases.

Noise: Minimal. We could hear the noise from people walking along the hallway.
Air-conditioning: We did not use it while we were here.

Technology: TV had some good tv shows on but we did not use much of it here. We did not connect to the wi-fi.

Bathroom: Lighting was dim. I don’t have a photo but it was very dim and cluttered from memory.

Extras: The check-in and out process was really smooth. Staff were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The lobby felt really fancy.
Amenities: There was a huge breakfast banquet included in our stay. We enjoyed the options available.

Thanks for reading 😁
