Mozzarella Bar is an Italian restaurant in Seddon, Melbourne with a wide variety of pastas, pizzas and cocktails. It was a great overall experience, but none of the dishes were memorable. Just a good spot for good food.
Food
This was a romana pizza for $25. It had San Marzano tomato, mozzarella cheese, hot salami, roquette.
A standard margherita with San Marzano tomato, mozzarella cheese, basil and parmesan cheese for $23.
This was tartufo, a white-base pizza with mozzarella cheese, truffle cream, pancetta and prcini mushrooms for $28.
This spaghetti di mare for $45 was the best dish of the night. It was king prawns, scallops, calamari, mussels, vongole, chilli, white wine, garlic and olive oil.
This rigatoni polpette for $30 was okay. It had homemade slow cooked beef meat balls with Napoli sugo topped with parmesan cheese.
This gnocchi porcini for $30 was average. It was homemade potato gnocchi, porcini mushrooms, thyme, parmigiano, cream with crispy pancetta.
This signature nutella vodka cocktail was $18 and too sweet as a drink with food. It was definitely a dessert cocktail.
Review
It was a decent spot with casual ambience. We might come back if we’re catching up with friends.
