We had some average Indian (HERE) so of course, we have to mention the good Indian, even if it’s located in the smallest, most random spot in Melbourne. This little restaurant has been running for decades, run by the cutest owner who thought we were lost, and wanted to make sure we had the best Indian experience 😂. He kept checking in to make sure we were okay with the proteins, and eating with our fingers lol.
Each curry comes with a serving of naan bread and rice. There was so much carbs for us to eat.

Food
The complimentary naan bread ($3) was huge. It was literally 5 times the size of our phones. Fresh dough, crispy with a drizzle of garlic oil.
This spot is known for their goat. The goat curry was heavily spiced and on the saltier side. It was mildly chilly too (per request). The goat had no gamey taste, and was sooo tender. This was $23.
This was our favourite butter chicken in Melbourne. The balance of tomato, cream and chicken in the gravy was soo good, we couldn’t stop dipping our naan into it. The marinated chicken fillets were also tender, with a nice charred taste to them. This was $23.
The fish madras was a new curry we tried, and loved. It had a light creamy flavour with a touch of tomato and coconut sauce. There was also some acidity from the lemon. And the fish pieces were delicately soft and fresh. It was $23 too.
Review
We weren’t expecting much in terms of service or interior. One of our forks wasn’t cleaned thoroughly enough so we just wiped it down. It’s not perfect, but it was delicious 😂. We will return.
