Library Cafe

The Library Cafe is a cute and hip cafe in North Sydney, not to be confused with the library’s cafe around the corner. Our friend N took me here and exuberantly said: “This is the best cafe next door”.

It was an unexpected trip, leading me to drink 4 cappuccinos within the span of 3 hours; the first was from home and the second was at Cavalier 2.0 (LINK).

Ok N, you were definitely right. Their coffee was good! It was creamy with the right balance of milk and caffeine 👌

The soup of the day was pumpkin soup. It was very creamy, with the right amount of pepper and softened pumpkin seeds to enhance the slurp of the soup. The provided bread was crispy and great for dipping. It was really delicious and warm to have on that cold Winter morning.
N ordered the corn pumpkin fritters, with grilled bacon, avocado salsa, spinach bed, sumac, hollandaise sauce, poached eggs and pomegranate seeds. He said it was really good and smashed it by the time I had finished taking photos of my own food… I was lucky to get a shot at all 🤣.

review

They have a cute outdoor setting where visitors can enter through the back and enjoy a cup of coffee with a natural view. I actually got lost and ended up at Stanton Library’s own cafe (with a similar name) so make sure to go to the one on Miller street.

I loved the vibe and the food. The staff were very friendly.
Thanks for the recommendation, N.

And thanks for reading, happy eating 😊.
