Sunday Roast

Yesterday, after flying 22 hours to the other side of the world, we were greeted with cheerful love by our friends, N & A, in beautiful London, England. We landed at 2 PM, dropped off our luggage and headed out to the nearby pub, The White Hart for a hearty and delicious Sunday Roast.
Sunday Roast is traditional roasted meat, served with potatoes, vegetables, gravy and Yorkshire pudding, obviously on Sundays only. The food was delicious, made extra tasty thanks to the reunion with our lovely friends.

We’ve now associated this meal with our fondest memories of live jazz instrumental music, an abundance of beer on tap and dogs wandering around inside the pub. We still find it so fascinating that dogs are allowed everywhere in London 😍.
The Yorkshire pudding, filled with gravy, was savoury and salty. The outside was crunchy and the inside was mushy and airy. It was different from anything we’ve had before in Sydney.

This was more of a dedication post to our wholesome day.

After The White Hart, we went to two more pubs, drinking the night away with board games and Jenga. We actually had a very intense session and other patrons in the pub came to cheer us on 🤣. It was a great night and a great way to start our London trip (LINK).

Thank you for these memories, N & A 🥰💕

And thank you for reading!
